Cannes Lions Festival 2023

Stagwell is a global marketing and communications group operating in four areas: digital transformation and marketing, research and insights, marketing communications, and content and media. Wanting to make a big splash at the annual Cannes Lions Festival, a global event considered the largest gathering of the advertising and creative communications industry. 

Stagwell wanted something to stand out amongst its fierce competitors. "Sports The Great Equalizer" was to be their overarching message. This stadium-like beach design features everything under the sun, including a broadcast studio, flexible content stage, podcast studio, oversized F1 slot car track, half a full-size basketball court with an OLED back wall, dynamic leaderboard, bocce ball court, semi-private seating areas, a temperature-controlled private meeting space with 360 degree views of the beach, sports themed activation stations, café space for breakfast and lunch, a plethora of seating and copious amounts of shade from the hot summer sun, all overlooking the picturesque French Rivera.

Responsibilities include: strategy, ideation, concept creation, experiential concepting, graphic design, spatial design and renderings. Primary focus on environmental elements.
